Description
Le Vaglie is a Verdicchio Castelli di Jesi DOC produced by the Santa Barbara winery with 100% Verdicchio grapes.
The vines grow on sandy tuffaceous soils, with south-east and north-east exposure and with an altitude of 250 meters above sea level. The vinification takes place in steel tanks with a constant temperature control of 10-12 degrees.
Brilliant straw yellow with slightly golden hue, the nose reveals hints of citrus and white flowers, with the typical almond note in the finish. Freshness and softness on the palate introduce a good closure with hints of almonds.
Recommended with vegetarian lasagna and shellfish risotto, it goes well with baked fish and fried foods.
