Description
This red wine signed Château Pesquié comes from a blend of the best red berried grapes of the Rhône Valley: Grenache and Syrah. The name is inspired by the characteristic terraces, Terrasses in French, which cover the wine-growing area of Ventoux.
Following the pressing of the bunches, the must is enriched in color and aromatic substances through a 15-day maceration. Then it stops for a long time in refinement, at the end of which it undertakes a natural process of clarification.
The color is deep ruby red. The sense of smell moves on spicy sensations, black pepper above all, and red berried fruits. The palate is fresh and balanced, with tannins characterized by a great softness.
Versatile in the food-wine pairing, it goes well with pizza and rustic cakes but also with grilled red meat.
