Description
The Venezia Giulia Sauvignon of the Cantina di Lenardo is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Ontagnano, in the heart of Friuli.
It is produced exclusively with Sauvignon grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently, the must remains in contact with the lees for a long period, before being bottled.
This Sauvignon is characterized by a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose opens with intense aromas of yellow pepper, enriched with hints of melon and pleasant notes of sage. On the palate it is elegant, balanced and with a fresh acidity. The wine has a persistent aftertaste of figs and delicate flavors of tropical fruits.
Perfect to accompany appetizers and fish dishes, it is ideal in combination with cold cuts and cold cuts.
