Description
This Ribolla Gialla by Borgo Conventi comes from the geographical area of Venezia Giulia and is produced with Ribolla Gialla grapes grown on flat vineyards characterized by clayey and skeletal soil. The microclimate, with mild winters and hot summers, is protected from cold winds thanks to the presence of the Alps to the north.
The vinification involves the immediate pressing of the grapes, avoiding maceration on the skins. The fermentation takes place in steel for about 10 days, with selected yeasts and at a controlled temperature. The wine is then refined in stainless steel vats until the following spring, when it is bottled to preserve the freshness and aromatic delicacy of the vine.
It has a light straw yellow color and a particularly delicate aroma. Floral notes emerge on the nose, giving this wine a harmonious and pleasant profile. On the palate it is light and fresh, with a balanced structure.
This white wine pairs perfectly with fish appetizers and soft cheeses, and is excellent as an aperitif.
