Description
The Astoria Extra Dry Honor sparkling wine is born in vineyards located near the Piave river, on the border between the provinces of Treviso and Venice.
It is produced with Glera, Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand during the month of September. After a soft pressing of the bunches, fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature of 18-20 ° C for 10-12 days. After a few weeks of aging in steel, the wine is transferred to an autoclave for the second fermentation, lasting 20-25 days.
It is characterized by a pale straw yellow color and a very fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with an elegant and precise bouquet, with inviting aromas of white fruit. On the palate it is complex, pleasantly soft and harmonious.
Ideal to accompany fish and shellfish dishes, this bubble is perfect in combination with white meats.
