Description
The Astoria Extra Dry Honor Rosé sparkling wine is born in vineyards located near the Piave river, on the border between the provinces of Treviso and Venice.
It is produced with Raboso and Pinot Noir grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand in September. After a short maceration in contact with the skins, fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature of 18 ° C for 10-12 days. After a period of aging on the noble lees in order to stabilize the color, the wine is transferred to a steel autoclave where the second fermentation takes place, over the course of 20-25 days.
It is characterized by a pale pink color and a minute and persistent perlage. The nose opens with a rich and complex bouquet, with pleasant and delicate hints of red fruits. On the palate it is full and balanced, rightly savory.
Excellent as an aperitif, this sparkling wine is perfect to accompany appetizers and light fish-based first courses.
