Venezia DOC Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 De Stefani

The Cabernet Sauvignon of the De Stefani company is a classic Piave wine that comes from old vines that grow on clayey soils. It is produced in the Le Ronche estate, located in Fossalta di Piave.

It is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested at the end of September. The grapes are destemmed-crushed and then macerated and fermented at a controlled temperature, with frequent pumping over. Following racking, the fino is aged in French oak barrels and barrels for 8-12 months.

Intense ruby red color, the nose recalls aromas of ripe red fruit and berries. The sip is full-bodied, pleasantly tannic and with a good persistence.

It goes perfectly with first courses with meat sauces, stewed and roasted meats.
