Description
The Metodo Classico Dosaggio Zero Sparkling Wine Mariné Rosé by Sandro De Bruno is produced with Pinot Nero grapes grown on volcanic soil in the vineyards of Monte Calvarina, in the province of Verona. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 580 meters on south-facing slopes, ideal for obtaining grapes of great freshness and structure. The production approach focuses on enhancing the varietal complexity and stylistic precision, expressing a distinct and refined territorial identity.
The vinification starts with manual harvesting and a cold maceration for 24 hours in contact with the skins, followed by a gentle pressing and fermentation in steel. The noble lees are kept in suspension with bâtonnage for 8-12 months. The secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle during the spring following the harvest, with aging on the lees for 48 months. After disgorgement, the wine rests for an additional 5-7 months before being marketed. There is no dosage, to preserve the original character intact.
Visually, it presents a bright antique pink color with coppery reflections and a fine, creamy perlage. On the nose, it reveals mineral notes of flint and smoky hints, followed by aromas of red fruit, ripe citrus, and wildflower honey. The bouquet is completed by floral nuances, sweet spices, and balsamic sensations. On the palate, it is full, elegant, and creamy, with a savory and slightly bitter finish that extends its persistence and accentuates its drinkability.
It pairs perfectly with fish and shellfish dishes, white meats, and selections of cured meats and aged cheeses.
