Description

The Paradiso Scaia of Tenuta Sant'Antonio is a Super Veneto that was born in the municipality of Illasi and Mezzane, in the province of Verona.

Fruit of a blend between the typical autochthonous grapes of the Veronese, Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, and the international Cabernet Sauvignon grape, which is harvested entirely by hand after a 20-day drying period. The bunches are gently pressed after which the must is fermented at controlled temperature for 10 days. The wine ages in oak barrels for 12 months.

Ruby red in color with purple fingernail, the nose is gluttonous fruity aromas of morello cherry, berries, accompanied by clear perceptions of black pepper, licorice, cocoa and tobacco. Soft and warm on the palate, it envelops the mouth with its texture similar to velvet.

To be combined with first courses with truffle or meat sauce, it is perfect together with grilled red meats and medium-long aged cheeses.
