Description
The Bianco Fumo is produced by the Sandro de Bruno winery, founded in 2002 and located in the Soave and Lessini Mountains area, characterized by volcanic soils.
The wine is made exclusively of Sauvignon Blanc grapes, harvested during the third week of September. The grapes undergo de-stemming, cold skin maceration in a closed press for at least 12/18 hours and finally soft pressing. The must is decanted and then fermented in steel tanks, where it remains for 12 months.
In the glass, the wine appears straw yellow in colour with greenish reflections. On the nose there are aromas of citrus, exotic fruit and aromatic herbs. The sip is fresh, with a persistent finish.
Excellent with vegetable omelettes, risottos and fish-based dishes.
