Description
Rosso Fumo is produced by the Sandro de Bruno winery, founded in 2002 and located in the Soave and Lessini Mountains area, characterized by volcanic soils.
The wine is made up exclusively of Pinot Noir grapes, harvested during the third week of September. The grapes are destemmed and subsequently fermented in steel tanks with daily manual punching down for 15 days. The wine then ages 18 months in oak barrels.
In the glass the wine appears of a light ruby red color. On the nose there is a bouquet of canine rose and violet, in addition to fruity hints of red and black fruits, black pepper and cloves. The sip is enveloping, with delicate tannins and good persistence.
Excellent in combination with cured meats, savory risottos, baked lamb.
