Description

Brentino is a red wine produced by the Maculan family, a historic winemaking reality in Breganze, Veneto. This hilly area, nestled between the Pre-Alps and protected by the Asiago Plateau, enjoys a mild climate that promotes vine cultivation. For three generations, the Maculan family has selected the best grapes from the region to create wines of great expression and character.

Made from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, it undergoes a winemaking process that includes fermentation in steel tanks. The aging occurs half in steel and half in French oak barriques for one year, ensuring a perfect balance between freshness and complexity.

With an intense red color, it is characterized by a broad, fruity aroma, enriched by subtle wood hints derived from maturation in barriques. On the palate, it is dry and full-bodied, with a refined balance and a pleasant persistence that enhances its elegant and harmonious character.

It pairs perfectly with pasta dishes with game sauces, roasts, and grilled red meats, offering a rich and satisfying tasting experience.
