Description
The Rosé of Castello di Roncade is produced exclusively from Raboso grapes grown in the vineyards of Roncade, an area characterized by medium-textured clay soil with a calcareous substrate. The dry and benevolent microclimate created by the Arnasa canal, which surrounds part of the vineyards, favors the optimal growth of the vines.
The winemaking involves manual harvesting of the grapes at the end of August and beginning of September. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, to preserve the freshness and natural aromas of Raboso.
The Rosé has a pale pink color and a fresh aroma with hints of flowers and red fruits. On the palate, it is soft with a balanced and harmonious acidity, with a return of hints of red berries that make the wine particularly pleasant and drinkable.
Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs excellently with appetizers, vegetable or fish dishes.
