Description
The Kreda of the De Stefani company takes its name from the Venetian dialect, where "kreda" means clay, the element that most characterizes the soils of these vines.
It is made from pure and overripe Refosco dal peduncolo rosso grapes, harvested in the second half of September. The grapes undergo destemming-crushing and are subsequently vinified at a controlled temperature with frequent pumping over. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 24 months.
Intense ruby red in colour, the nose recalls aromas of ripe fruit, prunes in alcohol, violets, with marked ethereal and spicy notes. The sip is broad and enveloping, velvety and with a persistent finish.
It goes perfectly with appetizers rich in cold cuts, baked pasta, grilled meat.
