Description
This Pinot Nero Veneto is produced by Torresella, whose vineyards are located between the Alps and the Venice lagoon, creating peculiar climatic conditions and a fertile land rich in minerals.
In 1984 the path towards sustainable growth began, which takes the form of the use of energy deriving from renewable resources, the abandonment of chemical herbicides and the self-production of recycled glass-based bottles.
The wine is made up exclusively of Pinot Noir grapes, which first of all undergo carbonic maceration to enhance the aromatic components of small red fruits, and are then vinified at low temperatures thanks to the addition of selected yeasts. The wine ages on the fine lees for 4 months.
In the glass the wine is ruby red. The nose has notes of raspberries and strawberries, as well as notes of sweet spices. The sip is fresh and fragrant, with silky tannins.
Excellent in combination with pasta with meat sauce, legume soups and beef carpaccio.
