Description
This Merlot Veneto is produced by Torresella, whose vineyards are located between the Alps and the Venice lagoon, creating peculiar climatic conditions and a fertile land rich in minerals.
The path towards sustainable growth began in 1984, which takes the form of the use of energy deriving from renewable resources, the abandonment of chemical herbicides and the self-production of recycled glass-based bottles.
The wine is composed exclusively of Merlot grapes, vinified thanks to the addition of selected yeasts and with a maceration of 8-12 days. Fermentation is completed in concrete tanks.
In the glass the wine is purple-red. The nose has notes of red fruit and the sip is vinous and delicately herbaceous.
Excellent in combination with pasta with meat sauce, grilled red meats and noble poultry.
