Description

Acininobili is a sweet wine produced by the Maculan family, a historic winery in Breganze, Veneto. This hilly area, characterized by volcanic and tuff soils, enjoys an ideal climate thanks to the protection of the Asiago Plateau.

Made from 100% Vespaiola grapes, it originates from a manual selection of the berries affected by Botrytis cinerea in its larval form, the so-called "noble rot". After fermentation, the wine matures for two years in new Allier oak barrels and rests in the bottle for six months, developing an extraordinary aromatic and taste complexity.

With a shiny and brilliant antique gold color, it stands out for its intense and spicy bouquet, with notes of acacia honey, dried fruit, raisins, and flint. On the palate, it is sweet but never cloying, elegant and sumptuous, with a full body and massive structure. Its very long persistence makes it an exciting and unforgettable wine.

It pairs perfectly with a duck foie gras scallop, but it expresses its full essence when enjoyed alone, in good company, by the fireplace.
