Description
The Grumello Buon Consiglio by ArPePe is made exclusively from Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo) grapes, grown in herb-covered vineyards facing south, situated between 350 and 400 meters of altitude. This wine represents the utmost expression of Valtellina's wine-making tradition, reflecting the authentic character of the territory with purity and elegance.
The vinification involves a long maceration of 138 days in wooden tanks, followed by aging for 42 months in large wooden barrels, steel, and bottle. This process imparts complexity and depth to the wine while respecting the natural development of mountain Nebbiolo, ensuring extraordinary evolution over time.
In appearance, it presents a brilliant garnet red color. The bouquet is rich and enveloping, with notes of berries, violet, fine spices, and slight balsamic hints. On the palate, it is elegant and harmonious, with velvety tannins and a long, mineral finish. The refined structure and vibrant freshness enhance its balance and persistence.
It pairs perfectly with roasted meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses, enriching their flavors with its aromatic depth and extraordinary elegance.
