Description
Valpolicella Superiore by Tedeschi was born in vineyards located on the rolling hills of Mezzane and Tregnago, in the heart of Pedemonte di Valpolicella.
It is produced with Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella and other traditional varieties, harvested between the end of September and the beginning of October. The grapes ferment at a controlled temperature of 28°C for approximately 10 days. Subsequently the wine ages in Slavonian oak barrels for 12 months and for a further 6 months in the bottle.
It is characterized by a ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with elegant hints of cherry, enriched by fresh notes of blackcurrant. On the palate it is pleasantly harmonious, with a good structure. The wine has an aftertaste that confirms the olfactory sensations.
Perfect to accompany first courses, it is ideal in combination with white meats and red meats.
