Description

A wine that is obtained from the red grape varieties grown on the morainic and marly hills of Valpolicella, a fine blend of 5% Corvina, 35% Corvinone, 20% Rondinella, 10% Rossignola, Oseleta, Negrara, Dindarella.

It is produced following the withering technique, through the partial dehydration of the grapes which concentrate aromas and sugars, acquiring color. The harvest takes place between the end of September and the beginning of October and, after the drying process, fermentation and maceration take place at controlled temperatures. Refine partly in Slavonian oak barrels and partly in the bottle.

Upon visual examination it presents a clear and limpid red color, while the nose is all played on hints of ripe red fruit, such as currants and blueberries, with toasting notes that derive from aging. On the palate it reveals good body and excellent structure, with a marked freshness well balanced with tannins: an elegant and complex wine derives from this.

It is an extraordinarily eclectic wine, which can marry an elaborate first course as well as a nice cheese platter.
