Description
Valpolicella Ripasso di Villamatta is born in vineyards located at the foot of the Lessini Mountains, on varied soils sometimes rich in limestone and outcropping rocks, sometimes of alluvial origin, especially in the valley floors.
Produced from the classic red Venetian grapes, Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, they are vinified in steel and then refermented or "sautéed", as per tradition, on the pomace of Amarone.
Ruby red in color with purple reflections, this Valpolicella Ripasso opens on the nose with fruity hints of cherry, black cherry and wild berries. The sip is fresh and structured.
Ideal in combination with pasta with meat sauce, including noble poultry, with white meats and boiled meats.
