Description
The Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore Bosan by Cesari was born in vineyards located on the hills of Valpolicella, in the province of Verona.
It is mainly obtained from Corvina Veronese grapes and partly from Rondinella, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place, with 15-day refermentation, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in French oak barrels for 12 months and in bottle for the next 8 months, before being marketed.
Purple-red in colour, this Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore opens to the nose with a complex and fruity bouquet in which red fruits and cherries stand out, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is full and harmonious, with hints of chocolate and roasted coffee.
Excellent with game and grilled meat, this wine can also accompany relaxing moments of meditation.
