Description
Villa Loren's Ripasso Valpolicella is a full-bodied and intense red wine, produced in the Veneto region using selected Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone grapes. It has a complex aromatic profile that reflects the authenticity of the territory and the tradition of Venetian winemaking. The ripasso technique gives this wine a unique structure and intense aromas.
The production takes place through the “Ganimede” winemaking system, which continuously mixes the grape skins with the must to maximize the extraction of color and tannins. During the winter, the Valpolicella wine is passed over the residual Amarone skins, following the traditional Ripasso technique that increases its body, aromatic intensity and alcohol content. The wine is then aged partly in steel and partly in oak barrels to add complexity and roundness to the palate.
It stands out for its deep ruby red color. The bouquet is rich in aromas of cherries, red fruits and spices, offering an intense and inviting aroma. On the palate it is structured and round, with sweet tannins and a pleasant elegance that extends into a long and persistent finish.
This red wine is the ideal accompaniment to roast or grilled red meats and mature cheeses, enhancing the intense flavours and complexity of the dishes.
