Description
The Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore Il Vegro di Brigaldara comes from vineyards located in Valpantena, in the magical terroir of Valpolicella.
It is produced with Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes, harvested by hand in the second half of October. Once the vintage Valpolicella is obtained, it is left to referment on Amarone marc for about 5 days. Subsequently aged in steel and then in Slavonian oak barrels, before being placed on the market.
The Vegro di Brigaldara is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with elegant hints of ripe fruit, vanilla, walnut and cinnamon. On the palate it is dry and robust but balanced, with a good persistence.
Perfect to serve with grilled and roasted red meats, this wine is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
