Description
Valpolicella Ripasso di Secondo Marco is produced in the province of Verona, in Fumane, by Marco Speri. The vineyards are located in the center of Valpolicella Classica, between Verona and Lake Garda, at the foot of the Lessini Mountains.
The wine is produced from Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and other native grapes (Oseleta, Croatina, Pipiona) and is aged in 50 hl barrels for 6 months and for 12 months in 6 hl barrels, followed by an aging of 6 months in the bottle.
At sight it has a ruby red color with garnet reflections. The scent is intense and fruity, with notes of wild berries and cherries, followed by spices and vanilla. On the palate it is decisive and dry, pleasantly soft.
Perfect to combine with a beef stew, even spicy.
