Description
The Valpolicella Superiore "Monte Lodoletta" by Romano Dal Forno represents the pinnacle of quality and territorial expression of this renowned wine area located north-west of Verona. This wine, the result of the experience of four generations of winemakers, is produced exclusively with Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes, selected from one of the most prestigious vineyards on the estate. The hilly location, together with the mild climate influenced by the nearby Lake Garda and the limestone soils, creates the ideal habitat for the varietal expression of these native grapes.
The winemaking follows a careful and meticulous process, with prolonged maceration on the skins to extract the maximum aromatic and taste characteristics. After fermentation, the wine matures for 36 months in new oak barriques, a method that significantly contributes to its complexity, structure and aging potential.
Upon visual examination, "Monte Lodoletta" shows an intense ruby red color, a sign of good concentration. The sense of smell is wrapped in a rich and complex bouquet, where notes of cherry and ripe red fruit dominate, enriched by nuances of dried fruit, noble woods and delicate spices. In the mouth, the wine surprises with its harmony and balance, offering a fine and elegant tannic texture, which leads to a long and persistent finish, characterized by a pleasant return of red fruits and spicy notes.
This Valpolicella Superiore is ideal in combination with structured dishes of red meat, game and mature cheeses. Its elegance and complexity also make it perfect as a meditation wine, capable of telling the story and traditions of Valpolicella through every sip. A unique experience to savor the true essence of this territory.
