Description
The Valpolicella Corte Giara di Allegrini was born in vineyards located in Fumane, in the hilly area of Valpolicella.
It is made from Corvina Veronese and Rondinella grapes, harvested and selected by hand during the first half of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 3 months in the same containers and for another 2 months in the bottle, before being marketed.
Of intense ruby red color, this Valpolicella by Allegrini opens to the nose with pleasant notes of cherry, enriched with intense aromas of officinal herbs. On the palate it is dry and well balanced between fruit and acidity.
Perfect to accompany Tuscan appetizers based on lard, salami and bruschetta, this red wine is ideal with typical first courses of Mediterranean cuisine.
