Description
This wine originates directly from the heart of Valpolicella Classica, in one of the most suitable terroirs in the world, on terraces interspersed with characteristic dry stone walls.
It is harvested strictly by hand, to maintain the quality of the grapes, from September to October. Fermentation takes place traditionally in red and, once the malolactic fermentation is completed, the aging takes place in steel vats.
It shows an intense ruby red color, with reflections that tend to garnet. The nose opens with the typical hints of ripe fruit, cherry and plum, and floral notes of violet; it has a fresh, fruity flavor, with a refined balance of body and structure and the right harmony between tannin and acidity. It represents the purest expression of Valpolicella, with an excellent relationship and fusion between aromatic, olfactory and gustatory perceptions: a champion of sobriety and elegance.
Its splendid organoleptic profile makes it the wine that goes well with the typical dishes of Veronese cuisine, such as lasagna with rabbit ragout and risotto. Ideal with red meats and game, it is the ideal companion for a platter of cold cuts.
