Description
Valpolicella Classico Superiore De Buris is an elegant red wine, produced in the historic area of Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella by Tommasi. The grape varieties used include Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Oseleta, sourced from vineyards located 250 meters above sea level, with a south-west exposure. The soil, rich in limestone, potassium and calcium, is ideal for the production of high-quality wines, thanks to its clayey and calcareous-skeletal composition.
The vinification involves fermentation of fresh grapes at controlled temperatures, followed by at least three years of aging in large Slavonian oak barrels and two years in steel. This process takes place in the ancient cellar of Villa De Buris and ends with a period of rest in the bottle, to give the wine greater complexity and harmony.
With an intense ruby red color, this Valpolicella opens to the nose with classic aromas of ripe cherry, morello cherry and plum, accompanied by spicy notes. On the palate it is soft and enveloping, with a pleasant flavor and a balanced structure that allows a light freshness and refined complexity to emerge.
Perfect to accompany red meats, mature cheeses and rich first courses, enhancing their authentic flavours.
