Description

This Valpolicella Classico from the Pruviniano Collection comes from the vineyards of the Domìni Veneti estate located in the hamlet of Prognol, in Marano della Valpolicella, on the land which was once referred to by the name of Pruviniano.

The time of grape harvest coincides with the end of September and the beginning of October. The vinification involves fermentation with maceration on the skins for 10 days, at a temperature of 25-28 °C. The ageing phase takes place in steel and then in the bottle for 12 months.

It has a ruby red colour in the glass. At first, it offers a floral scent in which the violet is the master, and then leaves room for hints of black currant, black pepper and nutmeg. In the mouth it is dry and lively, fresh and balanced.

Indicated with the first courses of the Veronese cuisine, it goes well with a cold cuts platter.
