Description
A great classic of the Veronese tradition, revisited in a modern and contemporary key, Valpolicella Classico, described by Hemingway "as a cordial wine like the home of a brother with whom you get along", is re-proposed as a symbol of elegance and simplicity. It was born in the heart of Valpolicella Classica from a fine blend of the typical Veronese grapes, Corvina 70%, Rondinella 25% and Molinara 5%.
A beautiful cherry red color illuminates the glass, while the nose already has intense hints of ripe cherry. The sip is fresh, invigorated by soft and silky tannins, with a well perceptible hint of cherry and, in the background, vanilla.
A versatile wine like few others, it is excellent with soups, first courses and risotto, but it will also best enhance red meat dishes and medium-aged cheeses.
