Description
The Valpolicella Classico Biologico Domini Veneti is obtained from organically-run vineyards located on the highest hills in Valpolicella Classica.
With vineyards located on dry terraces between 150 and 450 meters above sea level and on silt-clayey soils, the grapes are harvested manually at the end of September, de-stemmed and fermented at a temperature between 25 and 28 ° C. Short maceration for 7 days before aging in steel.
Ruby red wine with slight violet hues, it opens to the nose with great intensity of red fruits and sweet spices, pepper and some floral notes of violet and rose. On the palate it is direct, warm, medium-bodied, with well-balanced tannins and a pleasant acid texture that makes the sip accurate and medium-long.
Perfect in combination with first courses based on meat sauce, cured meats and medium-aged cheeses.
