Description
Araja red wine is born in the vineyards of Cantine Santadi, located in the splendid setting of Sulcis, in southern Sardinia.
Obtained from the assembly of Carignano grapes (the most cultivated grape of the area) and Sangiovese, harvested between September and October, this wine is left to ferment and macerate for about ten days, in stainless steel tanks. Later, after an early malolactic fermentation, it is left to rest in concrete tanks, where the product refines its organoleptic characteristics.
Cantine Santadi's Araja has an intense ruby red colour. The nose offers a typical aroma of ripe red fruit, with delicately spicy notes to frame. In the mouth, we appreciate the softness and elegance of the tannin, very present but smooth.
Perfect to accompany important dishes such as grilled red meats and semi-mature cheeses of great prestige.
