Description

The Valles Calchaquìes Tannat Reserve of the Don David line by Michel Torino - El Esteco was born in vineyards located in the Calchaquíes Valleys, in the wine-growing region of Cafayate, within the Argentine province of Salta.

It is produced with pure Tannat grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand between the end of March and the first week of April. After partial cold maceration of the bunches, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26-28 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages for 12 months mostly in American oak barriques and the rest in stainless steel, before being bottled.

It has an intense ruby red color, with purple hues. The nose opens with aromas of red fruits in jam, raisins and chocolate, enriched with delicate notes of vanilla and oak. On the palate it is concentrated and harmonious, with hints of dried fruit and smoke that accompany towards a finish of pleasant persistence.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, this wine is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
