Description
Château Musar Bianco is a white wine produced in the Beeka Valley, Lebanon, using Obaideh and Merwah grapes from 70-year-old vineyards. The vineyards extend over 40 hectares of gravelly soils with silty subsoil and are planted with the Gobelet system, with a density of 1,600 vines per hectare.
The vinification involves destemming and soft pressing, with spontaneous and malolactic fermentation partly in French oak barriques (20% new) and partly in stainless steel tanks. After blending, the wine ages for 2 months in steel vats and for 4 years in the bottle, developing notable complexity and longevity.
Château Musar Bianco is a rich, Mediterranean wine, considered the archetype of white wine. Fruit of the assembly between Obaideh and Merwah, it stands out for its completeness and complexity. On the palate, it is long-lived and complex, with great maturation potential.
This wine pairs perfectly with grilled fish dishes or mature cheeses.
