Description
Erasmo's Cabernet Merlot was born in vineyards located in San Javier de Loncomilla, in the heart of the Maule Valley, in Chile.
It is produced with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Syrah grapes, harvested and selected by hand between February and March. Fermentation takes place, with indigenous yeasts, in stainless steel vats and is followed by a long maceration. The malolactic fermentation takes place in wood as well as the ageing, which lasts 18 months in French oak barriques and for another 12 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.
Erasmo's Cabernet Merlot is characterized by an intense red colour. The nose opens with a large and intense bouquet of red fruit, enriched with notes of vanilla and balsamic nuances. On the palate it is broad, fresh and sapid, with velvety tannins.
Perfect to accompany red meats, pastas and stews.
