Description
The Malbec from the bodega Terrazas de los Andes comes to life from the historic wine-growing regions of Las Compuertas (Luján de Cuyo), Paraje Altamira, Eugenio Bustos and Chacayes (Valle de Uco). The vineyards from which it originates extend over terraces located at an altitude between 1070 and 1200 meters above sea level, where they enjoy a unique exposure, capable of enhancing the maximum expression of aromas and flavors.
The harvest takes place between March and April. 100% Malbec, after a traditional red vinification with a maceration on the skins of approx. 20-25 days, it remains to refine for 12 months in French oak barrels from the first to the fourth passage.
Wine with a bright ruby red color with purple hints, it offers an intense and floral bouquet to the nose with aromas of violet, enriched by fruity hints of black cherry and plum, and then leaves room for a measured spiciness of black pepper and cocoa. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy, of great refinement, with delicate and round tannins and an elegant finish with notes of black berried fruits.
Perfect in the company of first and second courses based on game, both furred and feathered.
