Description
Passo Blanco belongs to the innovative line of wines that the Venetian company Masi produces on the La Arboleda Masi Tupungato estate, in Argentina.
It is produced with Pinot Grigio (60%) and Torrontés (40%) grapes. The Pinot Grigio is refrigerated and decanted for 20 hours, finally the selected yeasts are inoculated to start the fermentation, which takes place in steel. The Torrontés is de-stemmed and also refrigerated, with a cold maceration in the press. Subsequently, the soft pressing and fermentation of the must take place, always in steel. Finally, we proceed to the creation of the blend of wines. The wine ages in steel for 6 months and at least 45 days in the bottle.
It has a pale straw yellow color. The nose offers a scent of tropical fruits, among which pineapple stands out, and pink grapefruit. The sip is fresh, with a citrus finish.
Excellent with grilled vegetables, vegetarian and fish risottos.
