Description
This Reserva wine from the Intipalka winery is produced in the Queirolo vineyards, located in the Ica Valley, Peru, using a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. It is an elegant and structured wine, perfect for those looking for a Reserve with character.
The vinification involves a passage of a part of the wine in French and American oak barrels of second passage for a period of six months. This process contributes to a slow and harmonious evolution of the wine, preserving its varietal freshness and enriching it with subtle toasted notes.
Deep red in color, the nose reveals aromas of ripe black fruits, accompanied by aromas of spices such as pepper and cloves. The delicate notes of vanilla and coffee, deriving from the passage in the barrel, add complexity. On the palate it is balanced, with good body and ripe tannins, closing with a long and pleasant finish.
This red wine pairs perfectly with grilled or stewed red meat dishes.
