Description
Malbec Intipalka is produced in the Valle de Ica in Peru and takes its name from the ancient Inca word that indicated the Valley of the Sun.
Located at the foot of the Andes, the production area corresponding to the Valle de Ica enjoys an altitude of approx. 500 meters above sea level and experiences constant thermal excursions. The desert climate alternates days of intense heat with cool nights with significant temperature variations. From this extreme viticulture, simple and immediate wines are born which in the case of Malbec foresee, after the manual harvest, a phase of aging in cask.
Ruby red with violet reflections in the color, it has blueberry, cherry, plum aromas and sweet notes of honey and tobacco perfectly integrated with herbaceous hints of mint and green tea. Medium-bodied, with a nice tannic texture and a good structure on the palate, it offers a medium-long finish embellished with sweet wood aromas.
Grilled red meats remain the dish of choice for a wine that goes well with grilled mushrooms and risotto based on speck and cheeses.
