Description
The Don David Malbec Reserve is produced with grapes harvested from vineyards located at an altitude of 1080 in the Valle de Colchagua.
The harvest is done by hand between the end of March and the first week of April. A low temperature maceration precedes the fermentation which takes place using selected yeasts. Malolactic follows in oak barrels and maturation which occurs for 70% of the mass between American and French oak barrels. The remainder remains to refine its characteristics in steel containers.
Intense lively ruby red with violet flashes. On the nose, sensations of plum jam and grapes stand out, flanked by vanilla and toasted tones, with hints of pipe tobacco. A wine with a firm structure and great balance, it seduces by its tannic texture and the hints of chocolate present up to the final stages of the taste experience.
It is excellent with lamb chops and barbecued meat in general.
