Description
The Trasor 750 red wine is produced by the Valle d'Aosta winery Rosset, whose first hectares of vineyards were planted in 2001 in the Senin area of Saint-Christophe. In the following years, the company decided to push production even higher up, buying vineyards over 900 meters above sea level
The wine is made from red grapes from vineyards located in Chambave and Saint Christophe approx. 750 meters of altitude. The grapes are vinified in steel, where the wine also ages for 6 months, to conclude the refinement in the bottle for 3 months.
The wine has a ruby red color, with a nose that recalls the aromas of small red fruits, black pepper and licorice. The sip is dry, with velvety tannins and good persistence.
It is an excellent combination with polenta and meat, braised meats and medium-aged cheeses.
