Description
The Pinot Noir 850 red wine is produced by the Valle d'Aosta winery Rosset, whose first hectares of vineyards were planted in 2001 in the Senin area of Saint-Christophe. In the following years, the company decided to push production even higher up, buying vineyards over 900 meters above sea level
The wine is made from Pinot Noir grapes from Saint Pierre, from vineyards approx. 600 meters of altitude. The grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled oak vats, while the refinement takes place in French barriques and has a duration of 12 months.
The wine has a ruby red color, with a nose that recalls the aromas of violets, cherries and blackberries, spices. The sip is dry, elegant and pleasantly sapid.
It is an excellent combination with legume soups, red meats and semi-aged cheeses.
