Description

Chardonnay 770 is produced by the Valle d'Aosta winery Rosset, whose first hectares of vineyards were planted in 2001 in the Senin area of Saint-Christophe. In the following years the company decided to push production even higher up, buying vineyards over 900 meters above sea level

The wine is composed exclusively of Chardonnay from vineyards approx. 800 masl The grapes are softly pressed and vinified with cold pre-fermentation skin maceration both in barriques and in French oak barrels.

The wine has a straw yellow color, with a nose that recalls the aromas of broom and pineapple, citrus fruits and orange peel. The sip is dry and fresh, soft and mineral.

It goes well with fish, vegetable flans and omelettes and with white meats.
