Description
The Chambave Muscat white wine is produced by the Valle d'Aosta winery Rosset, whose first hectares of vineyards were planted in 2001 in the Senin area of Saint-Christophe. In the following years, the company decided to push production even higher up, buying vineyards over 900 meters above sea level
The wine is made from Moscato Bianco or Muscat de Chambave grapes from Cumiod and Villeneuve, from vineyards at over 900 meters above sea level. The grapes are softly pressed and then vinified in thermo-controlled steel tanks.
The wine has a straw yellow color, with a nose that recalls the aromas of white and yellow flowers and white peach. The sip is dry, with a pleasant acidity.
It is an excellent aperitif and goes well with delicate appetizers and fresh cheeses.
