Description

The Aosta Valley Pinot Noir of Les Crêtes was born in the La Tour vineyard of Aymavilles, in the province of Aosta.

It is produced exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes, harvested by hand in mid-October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 30 ° C for about 8-10 days, with daily pumping over. Subsequently the wine ages in the same containers for about 6 months.

It is characterized by a ruby color. The nose opens with fresh notes of red fruits enriched with pleasant hints of undergrowth and hints of sage. On the palate it is fresh and savory, with a fine and elegant structure and velvety tannins.

Perfect to accompany first courses, cold cuts and red meats, it is ideal in combination with fish dishes, white meats and aged cheeses.
