Description

The Valle d'Aosta Chardonnay Cuvée Bois by Les Crêtes is a mountain wine that is born in the vineyards located in the municipalities of Saint Christophe and Aymavilles, at an altitude between 550 and 750 meters above sea level.

It is produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes harvested by hand in the second half of September. The clusters undergo a soft pressing and ferment in French oak barrels of 300 liters. The wine ages on the lees for 12 months with weekly bâtonnages and for a further 10 months in the bottle.

It is characterized by a golden straw yellow color. The nose is broad, with aromas of yellow flowers, exotic fruit and citrus peel. On the palate it is harmonious and persistent, with pleasant fruity and spicy aromas.

Perfect to accompany seafood appetizers, raw fish, first courses and fresh cheeses.
