Description

The Valle d'Aosta Fumin of Les Crêtes was born in the La Tour and Les Crêtes vineyard of Aymavilles, located in the province of Aosta.

It is produced exclusively with Fumin grapes, harvested by hand in mid-October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 9 months and ages for a further 12 months in bottle.

It is characterized by a ruby red color with purple hues. The nose opens with fruity hints, enriched with pleasant notes of leather and spices. On the palate it is pleasantly concentrated, juicy, soft and savory, with smooth tannins. The aftertaste is characterized by delicate aromas of vanilla, boisé, graphite, cooked plums, juniper and licorice.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with cold cuts and aged cheeses.
