Description

The Valle d'Aosta Fumin Esprit Follet of the La Crotta di Vegneron company was born in vineyards located in the municipalities of Nus, Fenis, Chambave, Verrayes, SaintDenis and Châtillon, in the province of Aosta.

It is produced exclusively with grapes of the autochthonous Fumin variety, harvested and selected entirely by hand in the third decade of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C for 15 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 12 months in large and small wooden barrels, and for further 5 months in glass before being marketed.

The Esprit Follet de La Crotta di Vegneron has a purple red color tending towards ruby. The nose opens with a fine and intense bouquet, with hints of vanilla, white pepper and cloves, accompanied by notes of red fruits and cherry. On the palate it is dry, warm and soft, with elegant tannins, pleasantly balanced and persistent.

Perfect to accompany red meats, this wine is ideal in combination with well-aged cheeses.
