Description
The Carménère of the Emilian company is an organic wine produced in Chile in the Central Valley from 100% grapes.
With a Mediterranean climate and soils of different composition, the grapes are harvested to be de-stemmed, macerated and fermented at a controlled temperature. After fermentation, the wine ages for 8 months in steel before bottling.
Intense purple red in color, it has marked olfactory notes that recall plum, red currant, blackberry and slightly toasted hints. On the palate it is soft, well developed, with velvety tannins and good density. The return of red fruits anticipates a long and intriguing finish.
Ideal to accompany roasts and barbecued meats, it is perfect for game and savory first courses such as tomato rigatoni topped with plenty of grated cheese.
